APA’s annual golf tournament will take place at the JW Marriott Palm Course. True to Red Robinson’s signature style, the Palm Course is complemented by sprawling water features and rolling greens. While challenging approaches can be found at every turn, perhaps the most picturesque holes round out the back nine. Find “Flamingo Corner” on the 16th tee box. Aptly named for the famous resident JW Pink Flamingos that nest nearby. Hole 17 offers a scenic, but difficult water hazard. Finish the round on the challenging water lined 18th fairway.
The tournament will be a scramble format with a tee-off at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 15. You may make up your own foursome, or APA will assign you to one. Prizes will be awarded to teams on a gross or net basis.
The tournament fee is $250 per person and includes green fees and cart rental. Club rental is an additional $85 per person. To register, please fill out the golf portion of the APA registration form. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.

In memory of longtime sponsor and tournament organizer Ole Sorensen, an informal tournament will be held at the Desert Springs Tennis Club, a state-of-the-art facility featuring 20 tennis courts (3 clay, 15 hard, and 2 grass).
The mixed doubles, round-robin tournament begins at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 15. Registration fee is $80 per person. To register, please fill out the tennis portion of the APA meeting registration form. Lunch will be provided.
